Faces Behind The Mask

 Hey guys today I'm going to introduce to you the Slipknot members with and without their mask!

This is Joey Jordison he is playing drums for Slipknot. His real name is Nathan Jonas Jordison, was born on April 26, 1975 in Des Moines, Iowa.  He grew up in Waukee, Iowa with his parents and two sisters, and was given his first drum set at the age of eight.

 Sid Wilson was born on January 20, 1978 also known as Ratboy or DJ Sid, 0. He is an American disc jockey. He is the turntablist of Grammy Award winning band Slipknot. He is the youngest member of the band.

Christopher Micheal "Chris" Fehn is the custom percussionist of the band. Before joining Slipknot he was a kicker of Wayne State University Football team.

 James Donald "Jim" Root born October 2, 1971 also known by his number #4, he is the rhythm/lead guitarist of the band.

 Craig Michael Jones is also known as 133 or The Silent One, and he is the best sampler and keyboardist of the band. He previously played in some local metal bands like Modifidious, before joining Slipknot.

Mick Thomson is playing lead guitars for the band. Before he join the band he was in the band of Bodypit with former members Anders Colsefini, Donnie Steele and current Bassist Paul Gray.

Slipknot is an American heavy metal band from Des Moines, Iowa. Formed in 1995, the group was founded by percussionist Shawn Crahan and bassist Paul Gray. The band is consisted of nine members. Joey Jordison (drummer), Chris Fehn (custom percussion,backing vocals), Sid Wilson (turntables), Jim Root (guitars), Craig Jones (sampling, media), Shawn Crahan (custom percussion, backing vocals), Mick Thomson(guitars), Corey Taylor(lead vocals), Donnie Steetle(guitars), Paul Gray (bass guitar) and Josh Brainard (guitars, backing vocals). Slipknot is known for attention-grabbing image, topsy-turvy live shows, and very powerful music style. Their debut album which was released on June 29, 1999 it was named with their own band’s name, Slipknot. But Mate Feed Kill Repeat was Slipknot’s very first album, created in 1996. The album is very experimental, covering a variety of styles and genres. It was a very rare album, only 1000 copies were ever made. Slipknot didn’t start wearing masks, the idea was originally brought up by Shawn who one day brought in a mask and mucked around with it. Soon other members of the band were wearing masks. “It’s not about our names or faces, it’s about the music state Slipknot.

Why I am passionate about rock music and online games.

Why I am passionate about rock music and online games because I feel empty without one of them. It's like a Bicol Express without chili if you know what I mean.  For me it makes me feel energized or relax when I'm listening to my favorite rock bands and songs same goes when I am playing online games.

Since I was a kid I love listening to rock genre music kind of songs. That time my cousin was a member in a band, playing lead guitar. They play alternative rock songs. He always take me with him whenever he and his band mates are going to do their practice. That's were I got to love rock music. Well I am really thankful to my cousin because he did that.

When I am still in grade two my parents bought us a family computer for having good grades in school. We play every weekends. I did loved playing games in it. And then when I'm in high school I was introduced in the online gaming world by a classmate who did have a magazine that has a free CD installer of Ragnarok. It catches my attention so I tried it installing at home. That's were I find that my passion with online game is just the same as when I am listening to my favorite music.
